Well I couldnt stand it any longer. I went down this morning to Cedar Creek. Got there about 9:30 am today and it was 34 degress air temp and the water temp was 39 degrees and very murky.. Only saw a couple of spots that still were frozen. However, only had 2 bites the whole day. Hope someone has better luck than me.

Hit McNealy on Sunday. It was still 80% frozen. Saw 4 morons in a 10 ft john breaking their way through the ice. The almost swamped it about 30 times. Never got a sniff from the fish. Drove by yesterday and it is completely thawed out for you locals with boats...
How is teh bass fishin at waverly park usually? Better than Tom Wallace or McNealy?
well i got my limit at Miles Park. There were about 12 other fishermen. I found a little congregation area and tagged a few with a rooster tail and had a few hit a float n' fly tipped with a gulp minnow.
So which lake at miles park is stocked for bass? Is teh fishin better there than McNealy? I have fished McNealy and Tom Wallace for about 2 years. I have a grand total of 1 fish from tom wallace and 2 fish from mcnealy...
what about fishermans park or long run? this is all bank fishing, as losing my job in may has put another halt on buying a kayak.
All the lakes at Miles have bass. #4 is the largest and has good bank access. i caught another trout limit today and also had a 13inch largemouth on float n' fly.
McNeely has a lot of good size fish.
My cousin and a friend raised 5 muskie sunday from Tygarts creek. Some of those should be biters by now.
