Did you not see that I said this??? It was an accident....accidents do happen in bird hunting...especially when someone doesn't do what they are supposed to and expected to do. Should Knight have seen him make the mistake, maybe, I wasn't there and neither were you. All I know is that the guy took responsibility. My opinion on this has nothing to do with being an "IU" guy BTW.....I am much more level-headed than that!

I did see that. I also saw this in the previous sentence, which renders "could have been avoided by both sides" meaningless:

Can't say the same about Denny Crum and his program at U of L.... Denny was like most coaches in the system..He wanted wins vs graduation rates while at U of L.....

Just check out Crum's Gradutaion rate of his player's vs Indiana's during the time both coach's were at their respective schools......

So if anyone is a Tool it would be Denny Crum for not getting his player's to get their (FREE) edcation and a even bigger TOOL in Rick Pitino who is a New York Thug and Wife Cheater......
Total respect? Wow, how anyone could respect someone like that is beyond me, but I guess in your own little world it is fine. You have a lot of respect for a guy that would most likely be in jail if he wasn't a famous basketball coach.

Exactly what was Crum's graduation rate Mills? Please enlighten us, since you seem to be so enamored with Louisville. You cannot even carry on a conversation about any subject with out turning it into a Louisville subject. I am beginning to think you are a closet U of L fan.

How is Pitino a thug? Yes he cheated on his wife, but that only makes you an idiot, not a thug. What thuggish things has Pitino done? Perhaps your hatred for all things Louisville has spilled over and now you hate NYC Italians as well!

For someone that went to IU and loves all things Bobby Knight, you seem to be quite lost on this one.

April 25, 1988: During an NBC interview with Connie Chung on the subject of stress, Knight utters the now-infamous quote: "I think that if rape is inevitable, relax and enjoy it." The remark triggers a protest march of about 300 people on the Indiana campus.

I wonder if he would have thought the line was so clever if his wife, mom or sister had been a rape victim?

Btw, I assist at a Wheelin Sportsmen dove hunt every year as well as a deer hunt for the same group os people. Not once has anybody shot another person. Of course, these are also people a lot brighter than Knight.

It is not the other persons fault, the other person was the victim, it is really not hard to understand. I am glad I don't have to teach hunter education with you, the woods would be littered with the dead and injured from "Accidents that were the other guys fault!"

Tim your are right about that quote....very out of line. As I have said on this thread, Knight has done some stupid things. As far as your last comment, about glad not teaching hunters ed. with me...you have no effin idea what type of hunter I am or what type of experience I have as a bird hunter. As far as I am concerned, you are a blow-hard who likes to turn other's words or actions around and make them fit what idealistic view you have of them. I am done with this thread.

Tim, no need to enlighten you or your other Louisville fans about how low U of L's Graduation rate was while Denny was the coach...... This story surfaced quite a few years ago and believe me...this very story was what turned me against the U of L program. Yes I was a U of L fan up to and including the 1986 year they won the championship....

But when a coach takes wins over education..I'm sorry i draw the line and that was what made me one of the biggest hater's of the U of L program....

So go ahead and look it up yourself, cause this my friend I know as fact and not hear say or rumor or as you would say in 99 % of your posts..My drivel again.......

Mills, you don't KNOW anyything. What you do is take half of what you hear, spin it to suit your needs and the regurgitate it as FACT! Every coach spends more time and energy on basketball, afterall that is what they get paid for. Do you hate all the coaches in the NCAA that didn't coach in the Ivy League or the Patriot league?

All of your so called facts, yet you have NEVER ONCE IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BOARD POSTED ANY LINKS OR OTHER INFORMATION TO BACK UP YOUR CLAIMS!

I lost faith in your FACTS a long time ago when you posted about a certain high school allowing athletes to fail a class and still be eligible. You see, you are a rumor monger and I try and find out the truth. The truth is, what you said on this very board was revealed to me by People who know to be false. Not some parents sitting in the stands at a football game, but actual athletic administration officials from the school you were accusing and other AD's at other schools.

Btw, when you stopped being a U of L fan the collective IQ of the Cardinal Nation rose by a few points!

Where did I turn your words around? YOU SAID:
"As far as the shooting accident, yes it was the other hunters fault.
