The West Virginia matchup scares me a little....They're a very physical and defensive minded team that will probably give UK some trouble....Brandon Knight, as good of a player as he is, doesn't like being played physical....I think that's a bad matchup for UK and if they shoot the ball anything like they did last year, it'll be the end of the line for UK....that being said I think UK will make it to play OSU and that will be the end of the line.....If you ask me UK and UL both got rough draws....For them both to be brought down to a 4 seed and get the top 2 seeds in the tournament in the third round is a bit harsh....but one thing's for sure, if you want to be the best you have to beat the best...bottom line

Can't disagree with the offense part.....but I don't think UK will get in foul trouble against WV....They don't have a lot of guys that can take you off the bounce....Flowers can but Bryant and Mazulla (sp) aren't the type to get in the lane and draw fouls...And Mitchell is a shooter...I'm gonna say UK by 6 if that winds up being the matchup....always a lot of 5 12 upsets in the tournament so don't be surprised if you UK winds up playing Clemson....they showed a lot fire power in the ACC tourny but are very streaky and could wind up being doomed by their extremely poor free throw shooting

Good thoughts Steven, I just see the depth thing rearing it's ugly head. Going only a legit 6 or 7 deep is a tough deal. I will give Ky props they have got gamers on this team. Brandon Knight impresses the Hell right out of me with his pose as a freshmen. The kid plays like a junior and he's getting in guys faces now to.
What's up with Liggins and this new thug role he's trying to play. Knocking the ball out of people's hands on possesion changes and dead ball situations and talkin trash at the free throw line, it looks out of character for him, are we seeing the real Diandre coming out or has coach put him up to this??

Not sure if anyone posted this, but the reason that Terrence Jones won Freshman of the Year over Brandon Knight is because UK was only allowed to submit one player per award. They submitted Jones for Freshman and Knight for Player of the Year.
In essence, Knight wasn't eligible for the award from the SEC standpoint since his name wasn't submitted by UK.
Knight is definitely the more valuable/better player for UK at this point.

I didn't know this, good info for sure. I would take one Brandon Knight over two Jones anyday.

I never knew this either. I think last year Cousins won Freshman of the year and Wall was Player of the Year in the SEC. I guess this explains both years. Knight is MUCH the better player right now versus Jones.
