    Dale Lake conditions are:

Lake is stained in the area by the state park, 53, slightly above summer pool with it being pulled.
Not so much to hurt the bite.
The livebait guides friday had one boat with over 30 fish, another with 2 over an good numbers, and a 3rd boat with a bunch of happy customers. (this is what the customers told me)
Right now an for the past week or so the bite is or has been as good as it gets, less some fronts. I have talked to a lot of angler's those casting crankbaits, an swim baits are all getting good numbers.
IM on the the water a lot with good results numbers are there not always the good heavy fish that id like but thats what it is all about, right now. You will catch good fish how good depends.

I use live-bait had 7/8 fish in the boat this morning with nothing heavy but solid

i have a buddy going camping down there in a little less then 3 weeks he will be camping somewhere around goat island. I am a big Lagremouth bass fisherman but had never really targeted only smallmouth. i might go down for the weekend with him but if i do im really there the fish. im not even sure if thats a good past of the lake to fish or not? i have heard that its a very unique fishery? will I be able to go down and catch any fish beating banks or crankin somthing along thouse lines? or do I need to get a guide a do the live bait thing?

The color of the fish looks like they are really browning up, the spawn should be getting going or should be going on right now. Looks like you are on them good.

    Nice pics!
