Btw it is okay to be hypocritical about coach Cal! UK fans have been doing it for a couple of years now. The UK message boards where filled with talk of how he was a cheater and they would rather have Billy Clyde. That all changed once the drunk was run out of town and they needed immediate results.The bar was set pretty high by the No. 1 UK Douchebag Apologist, your very own Matt (Matty Bangs) Jones.

Of course anytime you mention Cal and his vacated Final Four appearances some go with the "He wasn't found guilty of anything" of course these people probably believe that OJ never killed anybody either!

Rick Pitino has named this years squad as he so fondly does,it seems fitting that this years Cards are dubbed the "Forgettables".
I was fishing Cave Run over the weekend and heard locals talking about a team called MPT,upon asking which team this was they replied UL otherwise known as Moreheads Play Toy.

The funniest thing of all,is all the haters crying about UK and Calipari cheating as the reason you hate them,but cheering for Roy Calhoun and UConn who was actually charged with Major NCAA Infractions for recruiting violations and lack of institutional control.

Fact is its been over 22 years since UK Basketball was in trouble with the NCAA,since then and far more recently all these teams (plus many more)have had infractions =
Louisville,Connecticut,Kansas,North Carolina,Georgetown,Syracuse,Arizona,Ohio State,Indiana,Oklahoma,West Virginia,Tennessee,Baylor,Florida State,Miami,and Southern Cal .

I was on my living room carpet like Fred Sanford yelling "It's the big one! I'm comin' Elizabeth!" WOW. Don't know how many more of these I can take.

The last time we made the Final Four I was in college at UK. I'm PUMPED! Seriously considering a cheap 4-cyl rental car, $200 in gas, 15 hours to Houston, the cheapest dump motel I can find in the Houston ghetto, and a $250 ticket strip for all 3 games on Stub Hub!!!!

With my luck, we would get there and snow would close off most of the entrances to the game, then we finally get to the gate and find out that our temporary seats have not been signed off on by the fire marshall. But, the NCAA would staple a $20 bill to our forehead, set us out on the street corner and wish us the best of luck. Jerry Jones would step up and say the game was a success, all things considered, and start the conversation for the next big sporting event to come to Dallas or Houston or whereever.

What did OJ do? I for one believe if the "Glove did not fit, you must Acquit"

I am fully expecting UK to have to forfeit this any future championship due to violations, but until then, I am going to get each and every dig in that I can until then. Sort of like, PAYING IT FORWARD, It keeps with my new theme in life, "Expect the worse in every situation, then, when the worse comes you got exactly what you expected. If the worse never comes, then you can be happy it did not" I expect UK to lose every game then when they win, they have exceeded my expectations but if they lose they did exactly what I thought they would do in the first place.

I love it GO CATS>>>> It's one thing for a bunch of my buddies that I fish with jump on the Blowohio State bandwagon after the Cards lose, but it's another for UK to be the onetosendthemhome...and in the same breathe swear there's no way in Hades that we could beat UNC...

One thing that has been over looked in a lot of these threads by both sides....Those for and against...Last yr the Cat fans epected...we didn't feel the need to cheer, root,ect... No heart last yr. This yr has been heart. We took beatings and bashings alll freakin season long. But guess what...I guess the Weak SEC was a good stepping stone for what we have seen in the last 3 wks.
Kansas, Puke, Pitt, Blowohio State.....nothing else to say. They will be eating hotdogs and popcorn while explaining how in the wide,wide, wide world of sports they were beaten.
UCONN has every answer for Arizona.......

Win or Lose...we made it to Houston. Hopefully we come out on top. But the excitement for all the UCONN, Butler, VCU, and UK cannot be measured by an ESPN analyst.

It's been 13yrs....So I, for one, am going to crow. Oh and my bracket, for the record, had UK and UofL in the final game....as it always does.....standing bet on a GLoomis flyrod....
