Barren conditions

Does anyone know the water condition at Barren? I am headed out tomorrow. Thanks Ryan.

Friday it was 57 and warming quickly. Water fairly clear lower end, with a more stained water moving in up to 31E bridge, the splits of beaver/skaggs, and peter creek up to near state park. Fishing was incredible, with fish on the banks shallow.

small bass club out of Lexington fished 7 to 5 on Saturday and 7 t0 2 on Sunday, 6 fish limit, it took 39 lbs, for first 2nd 35 lbs, 3rd 29 lbs, they had 22 boats and 15 boats had 20 lbs or better, man that lake is on fire!!

No big fish but a lot of keepers. We we fishing lizards in the brush in the back of creeks. We also caught fish on the points. You may go for a bit and not have a bite but then you will catch 3 off of one spot,

Just get out there and couver some water.

Sunday the water temp was 62 to 64, we fished from 6.00a to 12.00, caught around 20/25 bass best 5 weighed around 16/18 had one around 5 and one over 4. Water looks good, stained to clear, all the big ones were full of eggs, they are ready to nest as soon as full moon gets here. Fishing is good right now.

I know there is a 3 day tournament down there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I think it is only 50 boats so that should no be to bad.

Don't know what this rain will do to them. But we caught all our fish on lizards. Several different colors. I only caught one on a jig but tried it a lot. Caught fish in the back of the creeks around the brush and on the points.
