Corinth- had a tourny there on saturday as an alternate location was supposed to be kincaid. but it wasnt that bad at all water temps were running in the upper 50's really close to 60 stained. there is a bunch of moss on EVERYthing and is irritating when fishing anything you have to stop and pull it off and continue on. most fish that i know of were caught on cranks and chartreuse and white spinnerbaits.
Wilgreen- today i was bored so i ran down to wilgreen alone. fished from about 11 til 2:30, caught 3 a little bigger than keeper sized bass all on shallow diving crank baits. not sure what the water temps where tho, it was almost muddy or heavily stained. but here is the kicker, i was trying to get a loop out of my bait caster and i just casted across the lake in the second little finger of the lake. and cranked it back it, something hit.. so i kept reeling and one of the biggest shad i have ever seen was on my DT14 fat. i would say this thing was pushing like 9in.
anywho good luck to all.

Honestly you probably haven't been around many gizzard shad. My uncle caught on once that was 14in long. 9in is pretty normal. For all the people who think Gizzard shad don't hurt anything that just shows a regular 9in gizzard shad eats small baitfish what do you think a bunch of them do.Corinth- had a tourny there on saturday as an alternate location was supposed to be kincaid. but it wasnt that bad at all water temps were running in the upper 50's really close to 60 stained. there is a bunch of moss on EVERYthing and is irritating when fishing anything you have to stop and pull it off and continue on. most fish that i know of were caught on cranks and chartreuse and white spinnerbaits.

On my home lake they started putting hybrids in to cut down gizzards shad numbers and black bass fishing has improved.
