    Don The Plumber

After years of thinking about it I decided to replace my faucets in the bathrooms. I had put it off because I HATE doing anything with plumbing no matter how small he job. I always run into something or don't have the right gizmo at the wrong time.

Well I started....removed the old faucet placed the new one in and went to install the cold/hot hoses....too short Dang it all! Had to go back to Lowes and get longer ones to finish the job. I did insure I had the right ones for upstairs before I went back..good thing because I exchanged for a better size on that one.

Things went smooth after that but I still do not like messing with that stuff. I'm always concerned I'm going to break something underneath the sink.

I guess I'll tackle the Kitchen in a few years....

I feel your pain brother. Generally nothing is easy when it comes to home repairs, but I stink at plumbing the worst. The wife uses me as cheap labor too. Last week she had me dig out four 30 year old Yew hedge bushes. Ever seen the root system on a 30 year old Yew? Felt like I just swam across the Rio Grande when that was over.

This site just cracks me up. Thanks for the laughs.

Now, if this rain ever ends maybe we can all get back to fishing and get off this darned internet.
