    The Royal Wedding?

Are you gonna watch it and why do we care?

It's the kind of thing I might have a passing interest in, enough to read an article about it, but no, I definitely won't be watching. One thing I do find interesting, though, is how many often you see Kate Middleton being called the "future queen" of England, even by major news sources. In case anybody's interested, she is NOT the future queen. The spouse of the monarch does not become King or Queen. Queen Elizabeth II's husband is Prince Philip, and he is not King. If William were to die before producing an heir, his younger brother Harry would become heir to the throne. If William were already King and had no heir, the throne would pass to Harry.

I'd rather watch The View, in HD, on a 24 hour loop, with no popcorn, while rabid midgets knawed at my toes and Englebert Humperdinck sang "After the Lovin"....

    Seriously.

Nothing against the Brits, but I could give a big warm steaming crap pile about watching the royal wedding...I could give that same sentiment to watching an American politicians wedding.

Now, if the Pope got married, I might DVR that.

Even Fox News is giving it a lot of attention. I can't stand it who cares. I just hope it is over soon.

Tradition don't you know. They have been around a lot longer than us and tradition is much more important to them. I will not make any effort to watch it, but if my boss of 32 years wants to see it---well you know what will happen.

From what little I have seen over the past several months to year, it looks to me like Prince William got himself a trophy.

I'm floating the entire length of the Elkhorn tomorrow. It'll be a short float....about 37 seconds. No need to bring fishing rods. Just bring beer...and fried chicken, yeah, fried chicken.

At least I'm on SOMEBODY'S bucket list....
