Re: Lakers are done ZENMASTER already quit

Break out the brooms fellas because the Lakers are about to be swept out of the NBA Playoffs. I am not talking about the little hand broom that you clean off your workbench in the garage. I am not talking about the industrial wide pushbrooms. I am talking about the Street Sweepers that are used to clean what else the streets. Mavs Thunder final in the West will be a great series.

Lakers up 7 with 5:05 left in the game and that lose by 6. Turn out the lights the party is OVER. I thought is was pretty funny that Jackson was getting all over Gasol giving him lip service and even smacking him in the chest.

    Goodbye Phil, enjoy your retirement.

Yeah that moment with Gasol was odd. That team has some real issues that will take money to fix. Just looks like the team isn't buying into Jackson anymore.

Did not have much respect for the Lakers in the first place but after the cheap dirty shots they took at the end of today blowout to end the series put them in the negative on respect for them. Good riddins Phil, now take your 147 championship rings Montana, Wyoming, Hong Kong, Bermuda or wherever you want to meditate. When you get bored in a couple of years and want to "coach" again, I am sure some team with the best players in the game will hire you. Jordan put 6 rings on your finger and we saw how many you won the couple of years he tried Baseball, ZERO, then Kobe and Shaq put a few more on your fingers but Kobe can't carry a team in today's game. The Lakers underachiever all year long and getting destroyed by the Mavs and the cheap shots they took at the end of the game proves the Zenmaster has lost control of his team

Woody I agree those cheap shots could have got sombody seriously hurt. Bynum is a PUNK, he has always been a PUNK and he always will be a PUNK. Artest is a PUNK also. In fact I think that whole team is a big bunch of crybaby's. If you can win like champs you better learn to loose like champs to, they disgraced the entire league yesterday and I say fine the HELL out of them. Phil Jackson did nothing to stop it either he just sit there with that stupid grin on his face.

I would say they disgraced the city of LA to but you can't tarnish that gas station toilet bowl.

It is sad to see those kind of crappy cheap shots especially from Bynum who is a nobody in my book. He is a big guy with the heart and mind of a 10 year old (sorry to all the 10 years olds!).

I kinda liked Phil (more in his younger years). He was the guy that Jordan, Pippen, the worm, Shaq, Kobe, Kerr, Kukoc, Paxton and others needed at that appropriate time. Not alot of coaches can take those kind of personalities and mold them as a team.

Shaq and Kobe were prolly the hardest since they were riding on the wave of Jordan and Pippen with Phil at the helm.

Gotta respect what the man has done...don't have to like it but NBA viewers got to watch a legend of the game coach over the last 18 years.

They talk about Bynum as if he is the next Dwight Howard. I have not seen anything that says he can be a dominant center in the league plus he is injured more than ME. All the garbage when trade talks for Carmello and Bynum about how good Bynum is blah blah blah. They acted like a bunch of spoiled brats. "that's not fair if we can't win then we will take our basketball and go home". Good Riddins. The way the Mavs are playing they just may be the team to beat. I still think the Heat will come out of the East and they will end up winning it by riding Wades coat tails

After all of this, I see the Lakers trying to package Gasol and Bynum in a deal to the Magic for Howard next season.

If Howard really wants to win a Championship he needs to go to the Heat. IMO...the Lakers are too old for Howard.

I think the Clippers could have stomped the Lakers at this point. They have many issues but like always will unload and reload.
