    My yungest son and I

My youngest son 14 had to have hip surgery because he had spit his hip bone and I promise him when the doctor would let him I would take him fishing. He and I went to a little water shed were we spent the day catching bass and bluegills. I have to admit he put it on the ol man and done a great job at running the trolling motor..

spending quality time with children is a unknown luxury, when my only child was young, he and I would go fishing every chance we got, as he got older, the family situation changed and we did not get the time we should have. In Feb, at 19 yrs old, I lost him, hold on to the memories and create as many as you can. I now have granddaughter who is 1, and a grandson on the way, I intend to do the same with them. You never know how long you have them, or they have you, cherish the time...

    Wow .
Anthony thats a jaw droper man.. Sorry to hear that..
My son has some kind of bone disorder (it's called see fee)and his bones are not as hard as they should be. he was playing basket ball last year and when he took a jump shot somthing in his hip poped, It took us a year to find out he had split his hip at the socket and have to have sergury Man I was beside myself and tore all up inside and the hardest part was not letting him see it. The surgery went well he is doing alot better but still has some pain when it rains or he puts alot of stress on it. He is my new fishing buddy until he out grows daddy and moves on but the memory will last my life time and i hope they do for him.. I hope he passes it on to his kids. We can only offer our children the tools to work with how they use them is up to them..
