    Green River Lake

Didn't make it out there till 715 or 730 this afternoon and had 15-16lbs by 830....The fish are on and it seemed to be on just about anything you wanted to catch them on....We wound up with around 15 fish with 5 good solid fish and a bunch of 12-14" fish

for me personally, the best time to fish that lake is in the dead of summer...I have a harder time keeping up when everybodys catching them really good like they are right now....everybody you talk to that fishes that lake much is catching 15-20lbs everytime out...if we woulda had more than an hour to fish tonight i'd say 18-20lbs wouldnt have been out of the question

might be going down in the morning and was wondering if the state park or lone valley ramps low enough to use. only have a few hours to get away and dont want to spend it looking for a ramp. thanks for the report. hope to have the same or close to the same luck you had yesterday.

We put in at Lone Valley and you should be able to with no problem....Most of the fish were largemouth with one Kentucky and one smallie mixed in....Will be heading back out there this afternoon

Green is absolutley outstanding in the heat of summer if there isn't a major cold front that comes through as they seem to me to shut it down worse than Cumberland. The last few years for me anyway have been the best I've ever had there. Can't wait for the night bite myself.
