Anyone got any tips or ideas on how I should attack the fish?

Went to Lower Douglas last night for about 4 hours ,used night-crawlers, chicken liver, and some fingerling bluegill that I caught with the throw net. I couldn't get a bite on any of it. Water was super clear, and I was fishing bottom and suspended. I had thought that there was fish in this lake, but I'm beginning to doubt it. The son and I did catch a super tonne of bluegills out of it a few days ago, but I want to get a hold of some large catfish, stripers, and anything over 5 pounds that will eat my bait. Cant wait for the Ohio river to get back to normal levels.

First, don't get caught throwing a net in lower Douglas! They'll hammer you. The use of live baitfish is also prohibited there. Usually if they aren't biting on livers try shrimp. They are usually biting on night crawlers there every day. The best tip I can give you is keep trying, you'll figure them out.
