Well.....I went to Monroe last night from 730 to 130 fishing for Stripers and Walleye. First cast.......a 6 lb. Striper.....not another bite. Think I'll stay home and post a few messages next time

I slowed down on my posting. Have not been over to bluegrass in a while due to problems with my truck. So I have not been fishing much this year at all.

I agree....fishing has been no different this year than any other. High water hasn't changed much, except in creeks and rivers. lakes......a little maybe but for the most part high water brings the fish shallower and makes them easier for most people to catch. That being said, did you catch those fish on a big lake or in a pond??? Ponds are ALMOST ALWAYS easier to catch fish in!
