Wait a minute here Rich. The guy was playing legendary golf, perhaps the best the sport has ever been played....all the while getting multiple doses of vitamin V from a variety of sources. It was after he got caught and had to behave that his golf game fell apart. Perhaps if he got back to getting his freak on like the old days, he would get back up to par!

    Re: Tiger fires Steve Williams

Stevie Williams said today that he was shocked that he was fired by Tiger and was pissed off that he wasted the past 2 years of his life waiting on Tiger and supporting Tiger to be treated this way. Stevie made his millions and I don't have any sympathy for him. He is on the bag of Adam Scott and certainly can't make any less money over the next couple of years.

To each is own in what they believe, Juice or Not to Juice:

I personally don't think Tiger was on the juice. I do think he had the money and resources to have every single physical and mental coach, teacher, vitamin, healing water, mud bath, and who knows what to get himself in top physical shape plus the self motivation and dedication to do so. But looking at both sides of the Juice or No Juice issue consider that the Juice will make you stronger to hit the ball longer than others but how much Juice is needed to have the mental game to pull off the 150 yard shot out of the bunker over the water to the short side of the pin leaving an uphill 6 footer for birdie and the win? How much juice is needed to drain EVERY putt inside of 10 foot that counted for years and years and years? How much juice is needed to have the mental game to beat the likes of Phil Mickelson like a drum each and every time they teed it up? I in no way condone his personal life and the decisions that he made. I do think he is the best golfer that has ever played the game, with all do respect to Jack. I also think that EVERY single professional golfer in the world is wishing and hoping that Tiger comes back to being relevant on tour. The money rolled in with prize money skyrocketing to what it is today when Tiger came on tour and started winning left and right. With the economy what it is today and with all the sponsors that have already backed out of the golf scene for the money to fade away. Considering at the dominace in the majors that NON AMERICAN golfers have over the past couple of years, the PGA Tour needs an AMERICAN golfer to start dominating the scene and Tiger is about the best bet. Sure there are some young American golfers that can play but none of them will dominate or even come close to winning 1/3 of the tournaments that Tiger did. Maybe Tiger juiced or maybe he did not juice, whatever he was doing or not doing, he better get back to doing it.

I agree his head is in the wrong place, but alot of his fellow golfers, many in the PGA and I alike believed he was juicing. One doctor was said in an interview that he was injecting him regular with the stuff. I know he went from a decent build to ripped overnight and I lift alot and that is very hard to do without supplements. Also his outbursts and fits he would throw are also a real sign of the juice. Just some thoughts, but I agree his head is not right either and the mental game is huge.
I think the only performance enhancing drug he was using was Viagra!

    Re: Tiger fires Steve Williams

Just to add to what I typed earlier in that Golf NEEDS TIGER WOODS to be relevant again and FAST:

The last 11 major championship winners: Padraig Harrington, Angel Cabrera, Lucas Glover, Stewart Cink, Yang Yong-eun, Phil Mickelson, Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen, Martin Kaymer, Charl Schwartzel, and Rory McIlroy. Phil Mickelson has won 3 majors and Rory McIlroy looks like he could win a few more before he is done, but how many SUPERSTAR GOLFERS are on this list? How many on this list would you plunk down your hard earned money to come and watch them play golf? My guess is Phil Mickelson, but not for his ability to play golf as good as Tiger. My bet is you would want to watch Phil to see when the wheels come off in his round. Lucas Glover is the only real American golfer that is young and coming into his prime on this list. Cink and Mickelson have past their prime and their best golf overall is behind them. Neither of them dominated the tour in their prime and neither of them will dominate the tour now or in the future. The PGA Tour needs to be headed and dominated by American Golfers and Tiger Woods was the poster boy. The Tour needs Tiger to be the poster boy again and SOON.

Steroid is a stimulant isn't it? I think some folks with Attention Deficit Disorder are prescribed certain drugs that do contain small amounts of steroid, supposedly it's in there to help them concentrate???? I don't know, just what I've heard. So if this is the case and IF Tiger did in fact take the drug then it's possible it did enhance his mental capabilities for the game.

As for Tiger himself...I never did jump on his band wagon...of course this is coming from me, a guy who could care less about golf and doesn't jump on anything that is popular, usually once something becomes popular I'm done with it, except for sliced bread, love me some 100% whole wheat on my samwiches

The word "steroid" actually covers a wide variety of substances, with many different effects. For instance, you might have a respiratory infection, or other condition causing inflammation, and be prescribed steroids to treat it. Those steroids are NOTHING like the steroids that athletes use to enhance their performance. What's a shame is that some people do get nervous about taking them, and may even refuse them, based on what they've heard about HGH, which is nothing like the steroids a doctor would prescribe to help you breathe better.

So true! I was told the ones we take from the Doc suppress white blood cells from attacking areas and causing inflamation. Folks with bowl issues can take them and I have had them for other breathing problems.

I guess HGH and that type of performance roid is basically a synthetic version of male testosterone? Heck I'm going on memory here...

Haha...true..true. But it is Karma that comes around and get ya eventually, just as it did in this case. As a health care professional, I highly recommend large doses of daily Vit. V! LOL!
