Man, there are so MANY mis representations in this I don't know where to start.

First it says that Bachmann wants to cut corporate taxes to 9%. Yea that is right, but it FAILS to say that she also wants to CLOSE the loopholes that allow the likes of Google to pay an effective rate of 2.4%. Where is the rest of the story?

Second.....it talks about how Capital gains will only help the top 1 %. Then in the LINK associated with that ******** statement, it talks about how 68% of all gains are paid by the wealthiest 1%. So the other 32% of that 100%....I wonder how much capital gains they pay? The statement is misleading.

Third........Again it talks about how bachman wants to lower corporate taxes, costing 1.3 trillion in revenue over 10 years......It fails to say that it will collect additonal unknown revenues that are currently offset by using creative accounting..........that would go away.

Fourth.......I'm really tired of researching the buillshit about how corporations don't pay taxes. I've posted stuff here before, but I guess most folks on the left either cannot read or simply fail to read, or whatever.

YEA, there are some companies.........a very small number, that are creative and don't pay taxes. GE comes to mind. BUT in the case of GE, in 2008, their financial arm lost BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars. Those losses offset gains they made, so yea, they didnt' pay taxes for a couple years. This year, they paid something like 20 billion.

Same thing with Goldman, same thing with Exxon, same with a lot of other companies.

Now if you really want to know what is killing the American Dream.......how about we REALLY LOOK. We have created generations of welfare rats. Those folks will NEVER see the American Dream. They have been institutionalized. We have created generations of folks who rely on food stamps. 1 in 7 rely on this handout. How many of you have been in line behind someone using this Aid. They eat better than I do......I've seen it FIRST HAND....and I bet you have too. How many times have you wanted to reach out and SMACK THE **** out of the person spending YOUR MONEY. How will they EVER value a dollar.........they've never NEVER MADE ONE.

Enemployment Fraud, Workers Comp Fraud, Disability Fraud.....all those folks will NEVER see the American Dream.....why try.....they have learned to game the system, and live off it.

Yea, the AMERICAN DREAM has been killed by the AMERICAN HANDOUT.

    Later,

    Geo

Interesting, killed by the handout, yep we hand it out, i do every day as it is my job, I see first hand the ones that live off it and the ones that need it due to their job going over seas or over the border, I see the waste, I also see the need, It makes me mad to turn down older people who worked all their lives and give to ones that have never worked, or give to illegals, or give to baby rapers, and murderers. But one point Id like to make is that a bunch blame in on the liberals, for coming up with this, but I have personally seen a time when so called conservitive republicians used welfare to get votes, yes in order to get votes in a certain co, years ago, the ones running for office used their pull or their dr profession, to make people eligible for welfare & disability,a politican has lots of pull. It is sad that we have created this monster, but not all the deficit can beblamed on this, has everyone forgot that for the last 10+ yrs we have been at war? Where does those funds come from, when they are spending over 3 BILLION a mth on these wars.Or is all the stuff we are using there free and no charge? Where did the money come from, THE TAX PAYERS.

    Re: Interesting read

First corporate loop hole are their because we have one of the highest corporate tax rate in the industrial nation so we have given these so called loop hole to keep jobs here and they are not on a level playing field. Lower the corporate rate to 0 and you do not need loop holes and you would have so many jobs we would have to bring in more immigrants

Second it says the republicans won't be happy until corporations don't pay taxes. I don't know about the republicans but I can tell you that are the way I feel business should not pay taxes and they do not pay taxes YOU PAY THESE TAXES EVERY TIME YOU BUY THEIR PRODUCT. This is why the liberal are insistent on taxing corporations and closing loop holes (which will drive jobs from America). It will get them more revenue to waste and they can still get reelected.

If 100% of income taxes were paid by the public and not the hidden taxes on businesses we would not have all these stupid expensive programs we do not need because we would be paying about 75% tax rate and we would have sent the Tea Party to Washington years ago if we really knew how much we are paying in taxes. Think how cheap every thing you buy would be if businesses did not have to add the cost of their entire tax burden in the price they charge you and they would make decisions on what was profitable not what would save taxes like hide money off shore.

It is time to really think about the corporate tax structure and how we would be better off with out it.

Just click on the authors name and look at some of the other articles he wrote and it will give you an idea what his agenda is.
