Going Saturday anyone doing good in this heat?

Heard some of the "boys" talking at the weigh-in at wax, fri. Night. They said they had been really tearing them up at barren, they were fishing points and deep banks, using jigs and big worms. They ssaid they caught several close to 5 lbs. Never did say what color... Tr

The best report is that it is finally almost back to summer pool, i have head the same as Big T, they are going on that deep summer patteren, BIG worms and I mean BIG have been catchin some nice ones, Green pumpkin, Watrermelon candy, plum,, also big jigs,standard summer patterens, Oops, CLand craw. Green pumpkin. Let us know.

Going Saturday anyone doing good in this heat?

Past week i've fished the dam area, up skaggs creek, and way up the river. I've caught fish in each area. Depth from 20' to 6'.
Like Bobby said, if you know of a summertime hangout, they should be there. Don't be afraid to downsize your bait

Deep Diving Crank Baits from 6am till about 9am. Then a 10inch worm. Our club tourney took 18lbs Saturday. They seem to like a straight tail worm over a curly tail. Say a baby huey is doing better than a Ole Monster. We only had 11lbs but lost several big fish. 2 weeks ago we have over 15lbs in the boat in less than 2 hours. Lost several big fish on a crankbait then too.

I went Monday fish form 7 to 2 am seem like the fish were biting better early caught serval fish in 15-20 ft most were just keepers no hawgs, there were not may other fishing that night ,I thought i would do much better.

Monday we had 7 fish over 3 pounds up to 4.5. 4 on a buzzbait, 2 cranking, and 1 on a jig. Caught around 20 total.

these guys are on the money in there reports
there is a few GOOD money tourneys this weekend here and im suprised to see any info at all
all of the patterns above are catchin fish
the only thing i can add is
if your on a spot you know fish are there stick with it or visit it frequently
its just a matter of being on the right spot at the right time
OH and....... DEEP DEEP...........DEEP.........
keep ice on hand for the live wells and learn how to burp those deep fish to keep them alive
