There probably is. Lets say we did start out with 10 basic laws, add a few rules for living, couple dozen religious exceptions. Not a bad number at all. BUT there are over 2 million law books in the harvard law library, do laws guarantee or restrict? And every year we add new ones.Does that mean more liberty or less?

the ones in this country, that collect the money for the law that you broke. they would love collecting the money using the ten commandment laws, because if you break one { you've broke them all } so I'm thinking our greedy fine collectors would multiply each law broken by 10.
