Wow, had one of those quick, weird dreams right before I woke up.
I'm on a fishing trip somewhere on the Ohio and we are staying at someones real nice fishing camp.It was a very nice house with a dock. In my dream, I'm swimming at the stern of my boat and suddenly look at my motor, and all that is there is the lower unit, the top half has been stolen.
I'm wondering, great, how do I get back up river to Louisville.
Maybe I need to go out to the boat barn and make sure everything is alright.

Wow, what a coincidence. I had a dream I woke up, made coffee, and went to the garage to do some wood working. When I opened the garage door, I found an entire upper half of an outboard motor sitting on the floor. I had no idea where it came from, but decided to use it to replace my riding mower's motor that had died. I woke up during the mower's test drive when I could not get my Snapper Rider Mower to stop doing wheel stands.
More likely, has your engine been running rough, or "Missing" when running? The brain, in sleep, puts a bend on common terminology amd the dream comes out as a literal translation.
I once dreamed I was standing naked in front of a judge during a property foreclosure judgement. I never use the terminology "short sale" anymore.
Speaking of dreams, I can tell you firsthand that the old saying about "if you have a dream that you fall off a cliff, and you hit bottom, you'll die" is not true, because I have had that dream. All I did was experience a buzzing, vibrating sensation all over my body, then move on to the next dream. Unless maybe I DID die, and this is the afterlife?
Any chance you were sleeping on your alarm clock?Speaking of dreams, I can tell you firsthand that the old saying about "if you have a dream that you fall off a cliff, and you hit bottom, you'll die" is not true, because I have had that dream. I hope this ain't the after life. My taxes are high enough I'd have to live 10 years after my heart stops to pay them all.
