I know this is the ky board but I just saw where the 2012 elite series will be on douglas lake. I know alot of us on here fish that lake some. cant wait to see van dam and all the others bust them on there. that lake is awesome.

I used to fish it when my son was young. We would rent a lakeside cabin and spend the day fishing while the wife would shop Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. One of those great vacation spots where there is something to do for the entire family. If you love fishing and she doesn't, you can't beat Douglas Lake for a family vacation.

Douglas Lake is a very good bass fishery and I am glad to see them coming there. This year's schedule is a lot better than this past one, but still dissapointed to see no Guntersville or Ky Lake.

I was dissapointed that they are going back to a couple of the same places they fished last year. I would have like to see them come up with a whole new batch. I really like the Big O, Douglas and the Mississippi River locations.

Liked they threw Bull Shoals in this year too.... Also the Mystery lake thing is awesome.

Bull Shoals is a great fishery what are the dates for Bull Shoals?

April 19-22, I too like the lake most guys don't if they are used to colored water...lol, you can read a pepsi can 20ft down or more

That could prove to be a great time we were there this year about those dates and caught everything that swims or they could be post spawn.
