I honestly believe he has dimentia. Some of the stuff that has come out of his mouth as he has aged has gotten me thinking this.

He was asked what advice he would give to a friend who began seeing another woman after his wife started suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.
He said that if a man was going to see another woman he should first divorce his sick wife. "Divorcing a spouse with Alzheimer's is justifiable because the disease is a 'kind of death.' He said he wouldn't put a guilt trip on a person who divorces a spouse who suffers from the illness.
What about adultery? What about the marriage vows that says, "For better or worse; in sickness and health; til death do us part?" There is no such thing as a 'kind of death.' Life is life and death is death....and it can't be categorized as a kind of death.
Robertson is one of the reasons that Christians get a bad rap. His family should turn off his microphone, turn out the lights, and commit him to a mental hospital. Something is definitely wrong with his mind because he just keeps making senseless remarks.
His Minister's License should be permanently revoked and he should be thrown out of the church.
I honestly believe he has dimentia. Some of the stuff that has come out of his mouth as he has aged has gotten me thinking this.
Bug you vented for me, I appreciate it. The man is off his rocker.
Maybe Pat Robertson is God's wrath against us.![]()
Bingo.
I agree, turn out the lights, the party's over for Pat Robertson. I never was much of a fan anyway...I used to watch my Grandmother give dollars and dollars to that guy though.
He is done, I don't know if he ever got mentally started, lol. There is most certainly something wrong with how that man thinks...
I think He is off his rocker to, but you need to go on the Slate website they looked at what he said and alot of it was taken out of context by the media. Read this article and form your own opinions. http://www.slate.com/id/2303989/?GT1=38001
It sheds some light on his comments.
Frankly, Slate is not necessarily the authority. After you dig through the different quotes and sources they quoted, it is still essentially what all the other media reported. It's just separated into different parts like a puzzle. Put it all together and you get the same picture.
I think he very well have some early signs of dementia. He is 80 now. I remember him beaking off about Haitit deserving that horrible hurricane they got as God was punishing them or some rubbish like that. It was too stupid to even think about. I certainly wouldnt want him representing my faith. I sometimes wonder about the baptist faith. What about those crazy baptists, the Phelps family. Lots of loonies in that faith. He should be booted out. If he has dementia his wife should divorce him!!! See how he likes that. dumbass![]()
Way to go Gills you hit a home runI think he very well have some early signs of dementia. He is 80 now. I guess if the man has dementia, it may explane why he makes these kind of crazy statements. if he doesn't have dementia, it makes me wonder if he knows what love is. I've had my wife for 38 years, and as you start growing old, you start thinking about dying, and leaving your family behind. and I know that the worse thing that could happen to me, would be for my wife to pass on before I do. his comments reminds me of one of the best movies, that I ever saw. it's called { Note Book } if you love your wife, get this movie and watch it with her.
If you managed to accomplish that your 'rabbit's foot' would really be working its magic. Pat Robertson lives in a multi-million dollar mansion on a mountain top in Virginia, complete with an airstrip. A couple of his backers are the owners of Coors beer and he dares not even whisper about the use of alcohol lest he upset the beer keg. Read this article and blow your mind. Remember all those grandmas who sent him their dollars every month.
