I don't care that UK has not been in contention for anything. Guess what, they never will either. But to say Louisville is much the better school than Kentucky over the past 10 years is an absolute JOKE. yes Louisville had a stretch where they won 4 in a row against Kentucky but I do believe that Kentucky win 4 in a row against Louisville, MORE RECENTLY. If you are going to say 10 years then consider all 10 and don't pin the argument on a 12-1 year Louisville had because you followed that up with 6-6, 5-7, 4-8, and 7-6. Don't throw out what your Coach Krapwad did because he us part of the ten years. As far as the advantage of SEC recruiting that UK has, is trumped by playing teams like Florida, South Carolina and LSU back to back to back. If you want Louisville to get the SEC recruiting advantage, then schedule SEC powerhouse teams in your non-conference and beat them over and over. As far as harder to get a BCS bowl bid, then ad Al Davis says " Just win baby". 22-25 for Louisville the past 4 years overall is pathetic, no matter the coach or circumstances. Are there way too many bowl games, ABSOLUTELY. Would Kentucky have gone to a bowl each of the last however many years in a row if there were fewer Bowl games, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Is it better to be a doormat in the SEC or mediocre in the Big East, a wash. Any way you look at it, Louisville is not far and above better than Kentucky the past 10 years. They both over the 10 years are mediocre at best

Are you giving up?? I don't care if UK is 3-9. I don't believe I was arguing that they would be better than 3-9. I believe the argument was that Louisville was not "Much Better" than UK the past 10 years. Based on the fact that you have given up with "talk to me after the season" you LOSE THE DEBATE!! Keep playing the weak non-conference schedule in the weaker football conference and someday you may be GIVEN a BCS bowl bid but as the other extremely smart poster (Coombro) noted, you have to EARN it in the SEC. Typical Louisville fan that I pointed out earlier, using Speculation and Might Happen to try and win a debate.

Is that 1 year the sole basis for your debate? The Big East had been around since 1979. In 32 years of the conferences existence, how many National Titles in football has the Big East won? I will give you a hint, Kentucky won the National Title in 1951, which is exactly 1 more than the current Big East conference TOTAL had won. I think Miami was a member of the Big East when they won their title. Current BCS format, SEC 7-0 in Championship game appearances. SEC has 15 BCS Bowl wins, most in history. Kentucky far and above play the tougher schedule in the TOUGHEST Conference.

Too bad UK can't beat any SEC teams. Maybe you should apply to the MAC or Sun Belt.

Too bad Louisville does not have the Stones to apply for the SEC. Your league is so stable with such a bright future that 2 of the founding members are jumping ship. The SEC is so strong that it is adding Texas A&M to the league next year. A&M dominates EVERY team in the Big East and won't even make the top 3 in the SEC

Speaking of the MAC, wasn't Marshall a member of the MAC in 2002 when they played a certain team from Louisville in a Bowl Game? How did that turn out for you? 38-15 The Thundering Herd!!!!

smallnuts they had an nfl qb. i'll also remind you that miami oh did also. you are pathetic, have fun losing to team 25+ years in a row. also, the sec would beg louisville to join, except uk has in state veto. they don't want any competition in basketball, so it wont happen. have fun going 0 for whatever in the sec and losing to the likes of fl, ga, lsu, sc, tn and so on. see you when we are bowling at the end of the year and you are at home watching

Sniffle Sniffle, that game don't count because they had a future NFL quarterback. Sniffle Sniffle, it ain't no fair because they had better players. Sniffle Sniffle, we were outplayed and outcoached. Sniffle Sniffle, here is a Kleenex blow your nose you big crybaby or as my wife would say "Whatever it takes"

Based on the fact that bplgocards feels that losses to teams with future NFL QB's don't count, the game between UK and UofL last Saturday never happened and does not count because Kentucky does not have a NFL QB on the roster

Send me your address and I'll send you some Kleenex for your 3-9 season and for your basketball season that will most surely be ended by a BIG EAST team yet again.
