You boys should check out Rex Burkhead who is the starting tailback for Nebraska. He is a Junior and a heck of a running back. I grew up and played sports with his Dad, Rick Burkhead who was an outstanding athlete at Clark County before having a solid career at EKU. Rick is a FBI agent in Texas, which is why it says Rex's hometown is in Texas.

Any kin to Don Burkhead that used to teach at GRC? I remember having him for a class or two.
Don Burkhead is Rick's Dad and obviously Rex's Grandfather. Don was my 7th grade math teacher at Belmont Jr High in 1979. Don taught me how to make a curve using all straight lines. I thought that was the coolest thing and have won many $$$$$ from people that dont believe I can get a curved line by using a straight edge.
Forgot to mention that Rex's Brother is named Ryan. Ryan is a defensive player that is playing in the Ivy league. I think Ryan is playing at Yale or Harvard, not for sure except I know it is in the Ivy league
ESPN just ran a ticker across the bottom that says Rex Burkhead and his teammate T. Martinez are the only duo in America averaging 100 yards each rushing per game. Get ready Wisconsin there is a new Sheriff in town and he is a Cornhusker
