Hoosiers is an all time favorite of mine........Even had a couple friends from Muncie that are in it.

You know.....that movie is BASED on my high school. Muncie Central Bearcats, were beat by Milan in 1954. Hickory was Milan and South Bend Central was Muncie Central.

    GREAT, GREAT feel good story.

And if you want to talk about basketball......well Indiana boys basketball and Hoosier Hysteria is the real deal. Chrysler Arena in New Castle Indiana is the largest high school arena in the country.

In fact most of the top 20 are in Indiana.....

Loved the Movie Hoosier's and the one with Nick Nolte as the coach of Texas Western I believe it was...Nolte asctually went and studied none other than " The General " Robert M. Knight for his role as the coach.

Savin Private Ryan, Forest Gump, The Green Mile, about any Clint Eastwood movie..except for that lovey dovey one he made....

John Wayne movies big time and several other's on here that were mentioned.....

    Oh yes..Also Conan movies....

Not sure what the definition of over and over is...but I've probably watched American Graffitti at least 6 or 7 times and Fast Times at Ridgemont High at least twice, maybe three times. Cint Eastwood movies are GREAT! Saving Private Ryan was good, I've only watched it once but I'd like to watch it again.

Couple of chick flicks that I like are Titanic and Pearl Harbor. Another good movie was that one with Tom Hanks in it (I think it was Hanks)...where he was ship wrecked or on a beach or something and all he had was a Wilson Volleyball that he aptly named "Wilson".

Does anyone know of any good war movies that showed a lot of navy scenes or was entirely based on being at Sea?

PT-109, I believe Tora, Tora, Tora is another one...Here's a really funny weekly series I can remember all the way back to my childhood as a youngster about 4 to 6 years old....

    McKale's Navy

Excellent movies. Don't forget about Patton! And last but not least Smoky and the Bandit.

Pretty much any old war movie. It reminds me of when I was a kid and dad and I would watch movies.

I also love the movie Rudy and Saving Private Ryan.

Dances With Wolves was a great flick!

About Saving Private Ryan. AWESOME movie, everybody should see it. But I gotta tell ya, throughout almost that whole movie, my heart was pumping a mile a minute, and my BP was probably 200/120. That is one INTENSE flick! I don't think I could watch that over and over again.
