Anyone seen Paul at Bluegrass Lately? I use to see him there all the time. Last time I was talking to him and Bill and Kenny were there and Paul told us that someone stole his motor tote device out of his truck while he was out fishing. He said it cost about $30. I was at Gander Mountain a week or so later and saw one of them for sale at Gander but they wanted about $50 for it. I don't need one for my small motor but evidently somone decided to steal Paul's.
I lock up my stuff inside the truck when I am fishing, just in case. 99% of the people visiting Bluegrass are honest but it's that 1% who you have to watch out for. You will find them around every public facility.
Never leave your valuables where they can be stolen. I just hope that Paul has not given up on fishing. Normally I see him there at least once a week or more.
Perhaps he's stuck at work these days. It's the busy time of the year and the farmers are hauling in their crops now.

I just remembered i did fish sunday at bluegrass just not that long. my buddy dropped his fav fishing rod and when to grab it and fell in. he got the rod and with the water only 60 we left early.
Paul, are you fishing Green River above the Spottsville dam or below. I was over there Tues and they were hitting a buzzbait in close to the grass on the outside of bends......we miss you at our tournaments.....
i was above spottsville's dam two weekends ago almost to seebre and just wacked them. had 10 keepers, then took that toyata bass pro guy sunday and we only caught 2 fish. we put in at spottsville and just fished around the area. didnt run to far because we didnt get out untill after 130pm. we took his boat. It was awesome.. Ernie did a great job wish i was there to see it.
I wondered where you went. I have not seen Bill or Kenny much lately either. I don't blame you for being bugged about the loss of that motor tote. I'd be mad too.
I hope that someday those that steal things from other people get caught and have to pay the price for their thievery. They could just as well have stolen something out of my truck.
Glad that you are ok and still fishing for them bass. It's been years since I went up into the Green River to explore. My boat's not really big enough for the Ohio River unless it's really calm. It's better suited to the smaller lakes than to the big rivers.
I found a big school of crappie and nailed about 20 of them in less than 30 minutes. Some were around 10" and 11" long so that was fun. And it was within sight of the launch ramp too. Didnt' have to waste much gas to find them.
I bought a new Frogg Toggs Toadz XXL jacket so that I can wear it over my other cloths when it's cold outside. Picked up some new Rockey Long Johns from Walmart. These are the kind for cold weather when you are sitting still so they should keep me warm and dry. They really do get the sweat away from the skin. I have a pair of these for milder weather too. They are a lot less expensive than those Under Armor Long Johns and tops. I can't see paying 50 to 60 bucks for those under armor things. I read that Target has some nice Sweat Wicking type clothing on sale so I may go over there and check them out too.
I am still planning on doing some more fishing before it gets really cold. If it's above 50 deg I can still fish. Below 50 deg is where I draw the line. I still prefer it to be 70 deg so that I can get a suntan.I love the nice spring and fall weather for the most part. If it gets above 90 I usually get off the water and seek some shade.
Hey Paul do you recognize this Big Bass from the past?

Now dang it those pictures I got from CVS pharmacy are all way too small. I think it's about 800 Kbytes in size which is too small for viewing in here without a photo viewing program that can enlarge the image. Sorry for the small size. I copied these off a CD that CVS gave to me and didn't check out how small these images really were. I have the negatives which I can scan with a new negative scanner and I'll try to repost it later on.
