River's been flowing mud for 3 or 4 days now. Can't say for the lake yet i'd say it's probably a mud hole.

Was thinking of heading there today but didn't know what the conditions are. Has anyone been since all the rain? If it is muddy is it worth fishing for largemouth? Thanks
Crappie fished today from 11-2 and then bass fished from 2-5. Wasn't super fast action, but kept us interested....water color is nothing to worry about unless you want to fish further up than Ponderosa I imagine. Wax and Rock Creek both looked like mud holes, so put in at Moutradier where water was just slightly stained. Ran up as far as far as Long Fall and there was more color to it starting around Red Rock but all still fishable. Crappie were slow but we caught nearly 20 bass in the last 3 hours, 2 just barely keepers and 3 just short, with rest smaller slots. Caught them on a multitude of baits - Bandit, Shad Rap, Paca Craw, spinner bait, even one on a crappie jig. All were really shallow but near deeper water.
up around wax to rock creek it was muddy but still fish to be caught. sp,cb, chatter bait produced about 40 shorts and one keeper today walking the banks. good luck to all
