That discussion started the day the last recruit was signed. Nothing wrong with that talk at all.
That's the expectation level of this team. There are a few teams in the nation at this point that have teams that deserve that sort of discussion--KY's one of them for sure, along with Syracuse, OSU, NC and maybe one or two more.

UK will not win the national championship unless Terrance Jones falls off the toilet, hits his head on the bath tub, and suddenly remembers how to play basketball again. He might as well transfer to the rifle team the way he is playing as of late.
BUT, nice win today by UK. Louisville's press is hounding and this will be good experience for our youth. Gilcrest and Davis came to play today!

I watched the game because I like GOOD basketball, and they both are playing GOOD basketball.

Lville has got to be one of the toughest teams out there. Their full court press is scary good! The state of Kentucky should be proud! Murray is kicking butt and UK and UL are both top programs.

Watched a replay of that mess of a game last night and although he may not of done a lot of scoring he sure was a main factor in some crucial moments. I think he played a good role in that game. 11 boards ain't nothing to sneeze about.

In most UK fans typical fashion...kind of seems to me like UK fans are ticked off because they didn't beat the point spread. What I've heard from two or three Cat fans thus far anyway IS...terrible game, Cats should have lost, poorly officiated on both sides, etc...I'm "guessing" they didn't beat the spread, did they? Courier-Journal had the Cats winning by 13.5 points.
For the 15 minutes or so I watched, it sure looked like a good game to me...lots of rough housing, scrambling, fighting for the rebound, all WITHOUT coming down to a bar room brawl like I've seen or heard other teams doing, etc...some good blocked shots, you name it...everything that makes a game exciting...at least to me anyway. Then again...a sports afficianado I am not.

I say pitiful as neither team could get it going as all the whistle blowing. One is the only point spread I'm interested in. Don't bet on sports.

LOL,now UK has to beat the point spread or UL Fans don't count it as a win.
UK has won 6 of the last 8 meetings with UL only losing the two years we had Billy Gillispie.
Pitino's new defense is combining Basketball with Rugby and praying the officials don't call every foul.That was a nice tackle on Doron Lamb with 6 seconds to go dragging him out of bounds and giving UL the ball back.UK was up 13 and UL got 6 cheap points in the final 10 seconds to make them feel like they had a chance.
Denial is a terrible thing,unfortunately UL can't play every game at home,the have to come out and play sometime.
