I guess if adding 4 trillion is unpatriotic, then adding 7 trillion is REALLY, REALLY unpatriotic.
And Bush had 8 years do to it. At this rate, you just may DOUBLE the national debt..

Ha what I read was....I was spouting off at the mouth, I was not qualified and I'm not sure what else to say because I like to spend. It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission....but he will still ask and tell the public it's the GOP's fault!!! Freaking moron!
Really? I call having to deal with the worst terrorist attack on our soil EVER, and then having to make the decision to go to war much tougher. The war(s) cost a lot of money and added the debt, along with other policies. If anyone fails to see that Nobama and his policies will run the debt further, they are looking through blinders. Not saying the Repubs have all the answers, but we can't keep spending so much $$$!
I don't know if he became president in the worst time in the history of the United States or not..."maybe" the worst time in 50 years, but I don't know if I would so far as to say ever. Then again...remember that day when Bush was sitting in an elementary school classroom during the first semester of the school year when all hell broke loose? September 11th, 2001 was the date...the date when all hell broke loose.
As far as needing a new President? YES! As far as needing a new Senate? Well...yes but, I've been wondering about that one a little bit. A lot of us have agreed in the past that we should vote them all out. But if we did, where would that get us? Think about how the political game is played with all the fat suites eating their $500.00 dollar meals...whatever rules, benefits and laws are in place NOW for the present members of the senate, would still be in place with fresh blood filling the seats wouldn't they? What would stop the new blood from coming in, looking around and doing the same things as the guys in the senate seats now, reaping the rewards and the same exact insane benefits that the present senate members have?
The senate needs an overhaul NOW...and bringing in new warm bodies just to refill seats ain't the answer, maybe it's the partial answer. It just feels to me like we need more than that.
What do you mean "do you want a redo?" He's coming right out and saying that what he said back then was wrong. What more do you want?http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...s-unpatriotic/

I want to see NObama leave office...bad thing is I can't say for sure if there's anyone else gonna do any better than he has or not. I doubt than anyone can do much worse but you never know.
I really dislike Romney...all politicians are greasy, we already know this, but Romney tends to make me think he's extra greasy. He sort of makes me think he's flashing or flaunting that he has money...heck, when he dies he's gonna leave with the same thing he came in the world with anyway, which is nothing.
I just don't like Romney...as for Newt...he's been around awhile...he's been on both sides of teh fence, both democratic and republican (hasn't he?). At least he has some epxerience in Washington, he's stood beside a few presidents in his time, etc...
Tim,
I watched a show with romneys wife talking about Mitt and how he is with family, friends and his outlook on life. I can't remember for sure but it was prolly a news show like 20/20 or something. I never liked Romney for his northeast swagger, greasy car salesman look and Romney care. I don't like the guy buy I have a new found respect for him.
I like newt but he does worry me. I think the Libs would rather go against Romney since newt has so much more experience with Washington and is a giant in debates. I'm starting to believe Romney has the money to compete with Barry O and when the mud starts slinging its gonna take what Romney has to compete. Romney has been building his election base/camps/organization for years.
Heck I don't like anyone of these guys 100% but at this point when I consider all things I'm thinking Mitt has the resources and once the GOP war on eachother starts he will gain more fans. Jmo
I hear ya....sad to say but it's just another election where we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. Sure would be nice to see a candidate that gets this country fired up...Guess it will never happen.Originally Posted by DJD

Here's the thing...........Last time around the country thought McCain was the Answer........So Romney Romney is BETTER than Newt, but worse than McCain?
WHAT the ???
I clearly though McCain was better than Romney last time around, but if Newt had been in the race last time, he would have been my choice then. It is simply AMAZING that the American people put Newt behind Romney and by implication behind McCain.........WOW.

Are you kidding? That's his signature legislation! He's gonna run on that and start the class warfare again. He'll probably throw in the race card too!
