Not sure Billy, I just rolled in from Guntersville and have been a little out of the loop. I will say this, judging on the fact that Pat Forde wrote it, you have to at least give it credence. I know that is not the popular stance with aaround here with Pat, but this guy lives for investigative journalism and is not likely to throw his name on something unless there is something he is getting that he feels is reliable.

If this does have legs then Syracuse and Boheim is in a WHOLE lot of trouble. This is the very reason that I said Pitino or any other coach should not be considered for the Hall of Fame until so many years after their career is over. As long as Coaches and Players are active in their careers, who knows what violations will come crawling out of the woodwork. For Syracuse and Boheim's sake, I hope it is not true, but if it is true I hope both Boheim and Syracuse don't get any "special" treatment because he is a Hall of Fame Coach.

Apparently it is true. The bottom line on ESPN is saying that Syracuse self reported the incidences....which doesn't make it any better for them in my mind!

Seeing and reading more about it this morning and I think things are going to get ugly at Syracuse. Wonder if Boheim will just call it a career after this season to try and stay out of the spotlight?

I wonder if Melo or anyone else on Syracuse's 2003 Title team are on this list of players that shoud have been ineligible to play. If so, and the allegations are proven true then Goodbye National Title. Ever since the other scandal broke, Boheim has aged 10 years. This might be the straw that breaks his back and he calls it quits.

I think it will get ugly from this day forward. Boheim, I thought, was one of the up and forward coaches. He's had a stellar career. Maybe this is an example of the "AD" taking charge......Jim's replies to questions were not good. Those types of answers only beg for folks to dig deeper. If I read it right some of the current team members are on the list.

Even though this "Drug Policy" was a Syracuse Policy and not a NCAA policy they are saying that it could be a "Lack of Institutional Control" situation. Evidentally the policy says that if anyone fails a Drug Test the Head Coach must be informed. Boheim said he knew nothing about anyone failing any Drug test. Then Boheim is to suspend the player per the policy. Either the Higher Ups never informed Boheim or Boheim is telling a Fib. The last coach that stood up there in front of everyone and said he did not know and told a Fib is no longer the Head Football Coach at Ohio State. With the Former Syracuse Assistant Coach and his issues and now this, the NCAA will be all over Syracuse looking in all the corners and under the rugs. Bad situation for Syracuse.
