The first day at Lake Talquin, fishing for crappie, I was using your method for counting my limit and came up short by one. The second day I limited out!!!

The Spanish Mackerel on Wednesday were a different story altogether. Possession limit is 15 for these toothy critters and we all limited out, for real.

Sounds like fun Tyme, did you catch the spanish on a Gotcha? I can't wait to hit the ocean this year....that is if I get to go, heck with a new critter it's tough to hit the river. Chuck

Yep, we used the Gotcha. What a smack when those mackerel hit the lure. I boated a double too. Minimum size is 12 inches but we didn't keep anything under 14 inches. We had to re tie after every other catch as those mackerel can sure chew up some 40 lb mono leaders.
