never in my life have I liked any kind of ball games. but I have a brother that lives for basketball. there was so much talk about the louisville and ky game that I did watch the game. and noticed when they called off the names of the players. none were from ky on either team. so there were two school names from ky playing, but two national teams. if I watched it all the time and pulled for a team, I think it would be good if the schools in any state could only play players that went to high school in the state they played for. then when your home state school won, it would mean more. anyway that's my 2cents worth.
Well I guess I missed that part on who started but both schools have players from KY.
Well, that is not entirely true. For Louisville, they always list Chane Behannan as being from Cincy, but he spent the last two years of high school at Bolwing Green. Plus, Elisha Justice of Louisville plays about 8 minutes a game is from Pikeville area. For UK, Darius Miller, who doesn't start, but is a very important player on the Cats, is from Mason County.never in my life have I liked any kind of ball games. but I have a brother that lives for basketball. there was so much talk about the louisville and ky game that I did watch the game. and noticed when they called off the names of the players. none were from ky on either team. so there were two school names from ky playing, but two national teams. if I watched it all the time and pulled for a team, I think it would be good if the schools in any state could only play players that went to high school in the state they played for. then when your home state school won, it would mean more. anyway that's my 2cents worth.
Problem with your idea is that if the players had to be from their home state, UK and U of L would be afterthoughts.
Congratualtions to Kentucky for winning the national chamionship in basketball. It was basketball, eh? I am not always sure if its basketball or football at times. lol I watched the news and it made it to Canadian news so I am sure all you nice folks from Kentucky are so proud of your team and this is a time to celebrate that your state won!!![]()
While you rarely see any of them since OOC early on,UK also has Jon Hood (redshirted),Twany Beckham,Brian Long, and Sam Malone who are all from Kentucky.
Lol Margie you can bet the University of Kentucky will not be the national champs in football!! Ever!!!! That sport fails in comparison to basketball at this college.Congratualtions to Kentucky for winning the national chamionship in basketball. It was basketball, eh?
