I saw those when I was walking back to my truck Saturday evening. Would be nice to catch the people who do that sort of thing and the ones who leave their trash all over the parking lot.

I found three short bass that someone caught and dumped on the gravel parking lot at Bluegrass Pit. Why do people do this? There were three maybe four dead bass laying in the sun on the gravel parking lot. They looked to be about 12" long or about that lenght. Someone caught then and just dumped them in the parking lot.
It's no wonder the bass fishing won't get any better if they keep poaching and destroying the bass resource with wanton abandonment.

You can't fix stupid.
i saw it too, i told the DNR guy that is was mad as hell, and all the floating beer bottles, please report these people. I when after work yesterday and the dnr guy told me there were a couple of guys drunk out there with a boat and i guess when the drunk guy tried to back the trailer down he hit another guys boat trailer. just hope it was reported.I found three short bass that someone caught and dumped on the gravel parking lot at Bluegrass Pit. So, the DNR guy saw a couple of drunks on the water and didn't have a CO out there arresting them? If we tolerate this activity and someone gets hurt because of it we too are guilty.
In the case of a guy hitting another vehicle or boat trailer that can and should be reported to the Warrick County Sheriffs Dept. You don't need a CO to investigate that type of accident. The CO's patrol the river and give out tickets to drunk boat drivers as it's illegal to drive a boat while intoxicated just like if you were driving a car.
I'm getting sick of seeing all the trash left on the bank and the beer bottles. I wish that IDNR and or the Warrick County Sheriff would patrol this area and take the drunks to jail.
The trash is ruining the aesthetics of the area IMHO.
I know that the IDNR guy sees a lot of this going on and he can and does pass the information onto his boss. But his boss will need to rely on the CO's to do anything along enforcement lines.
How often do you guys see the CO's out there? I see them at times but not every time I'm over there. And I drive around the area a lot just to see what's going on. I'm not there every day though.
If you need to report some thing to a CO just call the Warrick County Sheriffs office and they can dispatch the CO's to the area. Not sure how long it will take for a CO to get there. I guess it depends on what they are doing at the time and where they are and the nature of the call. If someone is having a big problem that's a danger to the public I would think that the CO would be there sooner rather than later.
