Cherokee Lake - Louisville

Anyone fished Cherokee Lake in Louisville lately? I used to fish it a lot as a kid but haven't fished it in over 15 years. I know it's a FINS lake and gets regular stockings. I live nerby and thought I might head over with my fly rod or ultralight. Any up to date info is greatly appreciated!

I took my boy over there a month ago for first time,we fished for bass,no bites,saw a bunch of carp,lots of moss,and bums drinking beer and sleeping under the trees.

I haven't fished there in about 25 years. I used to go over with friends to catch little bluegill. I still see people fishing there all the time, but I don't know what it gets stocked with or how often. I suppose I ought to try it again, just because it's so close, sometime when I want to get out but don't have much time.
