    My favorite catfish rods

    Steve can't watch you tube at work but for the type fishing I do mostly (bottom bouncing) I use the Tiger Ugly stick. Stout lots a eyes and not to heavy. I have a whole bunch a rods for different things but they are my favorite. Chuck

    Ok Home now and can watch.....Looks like a nice pole.I know you use circle hooks alot.Do you think it would have enough back bone for a vertical drift???? I'm still livin in the stone age and like crossing there eyes on the hook set.Where can I get these poles? They do look nice might add one to the collection. Chuck

    I use the same rods and really like them for the money. Couple 100+ pounders been caught on them so plenty of backbone. If you like to anchor in the hydros with 20+ oz of sinkers you may need to beef up but other than that good all purpose rod.

    Google tangling with catfish rods and you'll find em. A buddy of mine started the line but has since sold the biz to a guy in IL. They are still selling well.

    you all are no fun

    I get tickled watching you guys with the big poles,,thought fishing was a sport,,LOL Give the fish a chance,,all I`ve ever used are bass flippin sticks and good reels,,but thats me,,i kinow I`m going to catch hell for this post,,,got ahead tell me how stupit I am,,,LOL but never lost a big one cause of my rod,,got alot of big cats to show for it,,

    Hell those are my light rods Doug....

    They do make a lighter action 8 footer (whisker whip) for those with similar taste

    Thanks Scott I'll be picking one of these rods up and giving them a try. You been doin any tournaments?

    Doug I caught my biggest flat at 80# on a 6ft Berkley lightning rod, for the first 30 minutes it was fun...for the last 45 it was he!! LOL I prefere power liften to isometrics. Not to mention trying to cast a 15in skip out with a bass rod.LOL man I miss our Fri. nighters. Chuck

    Hey there Chuck,,yes sir I miss our friday nights too..never laughed so hard sometimes,,but the next time you will be down there let me know,,I use to always know you was there on fridays but with the new baby i understtand,,WishinIwasfishin are to go this weekend,,hope to get his pretty Ranger all slimmy and smelly,,and hope to catch some cats too...:-) but don`t have to worry about slinging those 15in skippys cause i can never find that size any more..you got me drift fishing anyway,,

    LOL Your chin was on the floor when you turned and looked at the camera. 1:58 I thought you had a bull head shark at first, I wasn't paying much atention at first.
