Is this the stuff your are talking about? My Raider came with it on all the floors, rear deck, cabin, bow, etc.

I agree with you it's very easy to maintain. Hose it off and good to go. Washes up easy if you want. No more hooks in the carpet, no slime.

And even in heavy rain with wet shoes, it's non-slip.

Down side to consider: When the sun is hot don't walk on it in bare feet, it gets pretty warm.

If I had it to do over again, with a hardtop enclosed cabin, I would do the vinyl on the bow and stern, and inside the cockpit go with carpet to reduce sound and add a little more creature comfort. As is with all vinyl, I love the easy of maintenance, and the other good news is if it gets wet, withing a bout 15 minutes in the sun you can run around on it in socks and now get wet, it drys that quick.

Something else you may want consider is spray on bed liner. You can have done professionaly or do it yourself. I've seen a few boats that have it and the owners were very happy with them. Thanks Tech

Yes Bob thats what it looks like. LOL I can fix that carpet in the cabin part pretty easy. I got some samples of some really nice 28oz textrued marine carpet that the really nice pontoons come with.

When I renovated my '84 Tracker a few years ago, I used a product called Nautolex and couldn't be happier with it. It's vinyl with a textured surface and easy to clean - just hose it off. If you're not familiar with it, you might want to check it out.

Can you do the deck lids using that product?

I have a sample of the Nautolex being sent to me now but am unsure if it would do the deck lids etc.

Sure. I used it on the bilge compartment and livewell lids on mine.
