Hey everyone, the family and I just got back from being down at Lexington, Ky. for the past 3 days or so. My Brother had to have jaw surgery at the Uk Hospital.
First let me tell you all this, I was and so was my parents impressed by the Hospitality and friendliness of all the people we met and dealt with while there. Seemed like everyone went out of their way to make sure we were treated with kindness and all of our needs were met to the highest standards possible.... The City was so clean and just seemed like a very nice area to be in and everyone we encountered seemed to be so happy and just overall content. We just felt like we were actually part of the City as well and felt so comfortable being there. Of which I can't say the same thing about our many trips into downtown Louisville and lots of other places in Jefferson County we've been too while taking care of personal needs.
Heck I felt more at home like when we were in Texas when we were in Mount Washington at a store and other places we went to....Mom said she just feels uneasy when we go downtown to Louisville and the streets of Louisville look so nasty. Litter all over the place and rude driver's you encounter while motoring from place to place.
I can't say enough about the UK Hospital and all the staff who treated my brother and looked after him. The Hospital was so clean and peaceful looking. I bet you could have ate off the floors.
Well I'll end this post by saying, Thank You again to the City of Lexington and how you made our brief stay while there so enjoyable.
Come on Mark, quit candy coating it and tell us how you really feel![]()
If this is legit have your brother fill out any surveys the hospital sends him to let them know of the positive experience. These satisfaction surveys are actually beginning to be used to score hospitals for reimbursement purposes.
It's kind of ironic that Ol' WhiteAss decides to post this just about the time the U of L/U of K rivalries are beginning for the 2012/2013 season. LOL...WhiteAss the pot stirrer! lol...
This is very much legit and look forward to making sure my parents fill out a survey for the UK Hospital......
Hey got no beans in the pot on you all's up coming game, but I'd rather root for UK than U of L on this one. At least UK plays in a tougher conference and has an excuse for most of their loss's they suffer each year..... Got to be tough playing in the SEC, as it is playing in the Big 12 like my Longhorns do......
BTW, no pot stirrer here...just know the difference in a weak conference vs a Power House Conference when it comes to Football......
I spent 20+ years in Orlando and have lived in Lex since 96 and I have to say Lex is cleaner looking and most def has a friendlier attitude. Orlando has to many transplants and alot of folks don't have a history there, no sense of belonging or really even care about the areas history. Traffic there SUKKS beyond anything I have ever experienced. Think about this...Orlando and the surrounding roads are full of tourists. Most don't know the roads so they have to go slow or pull bonehead moves while trying to find their way. Then consider how many of these folks might not have driven a car for a while but all they need here is cash and a valid DL and poof they are on the roads. Plus the language barrier!!!!! Spanish is required in that area!![]()
Lol of course Lexington seems nice. Once you get out of the trailer park any place with a two story building probably seems like Hollywood! You should have went there after the national title win,you could have compared it to Watts, Compton or Detroit!Hey everyone, the family and I just got back from being down at Lexington, Ky. for the past 3 days or so.
