Chuck, there is a guy that lives right on Hwy 53 in Ballardsville that works on boat motors, his house is on left between church and sharp left hand turn going towards Shelby County. His garage sits down a hill you can see it from road.

I live in Smithfield and take my boat to a guy in Corydon IN. Yes, it's an hour away and yes, I know there are a LOT of boat repair shops between my house and his. HOWEVER, he gets the job done the first time and doesn't charge an arm and a leg to do the work. If you're interested in his name and number PM me and I'll gladly give you his info.

Trying calling Richard (Dicky). He lives in crestwood and works on my 200 merc and a bunch of my buddies. He only works on Mercs. Cell number is 593-8408

My dad does outboard motor work in Bardstown, KY several on this board have used and still use him. He charges about $40-45 an hour. Can get ahold of him at [email protected] or 502-314-9209. If you don't hit him up then thats fine too just throwing it out there if anyone else is interested !!!
