1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.

2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.

3. In 1972 a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach and it was blown up shortly after landing by Muslim males.

4. In 1973 a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome , with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.

5. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.

6. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.

7. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.

8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard - in his wheelchair - by Muslim males.

9. In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.

11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.

13. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining , one crashed into the Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.

14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.

15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by--- you guessed it--- Muslim males

Now, I really see a pattern here that justifies profiling, don't you?

But, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners are not allowed to profile certain people.

I support profiling 100% and I am serious. Even if it means me getting questioned standing around the Federal Building downtown because a couple of guys that look like me blew one up.

I don't think they should be profiled.

I think they should be strip searched by 12 biker inmates, and then questioned by Hillary Clinton.

Profiling is alive and well!! Come to the Lexington Bluegrass Airport. If your middle-aged and white skinned prepare to be searched or pass over with a wand or swabbed. Each time I go through there one of those things happened. I'm 5 for 5 when going through security there. It's racial profiling......awww forget it, I would have to be black, Hispanic or have my head wrapped in a towel to get equal rights.

Hey Grumpy, thank you for that excellent post. I really had no idea that muslim extremists were involved in terrorist activities decades and decades ago. I think we kid ourselves it started with Sept 11th but this goes way way back. Some people deny that this is a huge problem and there are alot of extremists out there and not just a few. Seeing the riots and bombings going on now is very scary for me for Americans and your allies in foreign countries. It was sad to see Ambassador Christopher Smith killed on the anniversary of Sept 11. This silliness about a short video is not the reason for all the anti american hatred. It is revenge for bin laden and the acting leader of al quida that was killed recently that is behind this. I wondered why they didnt do anything on the 10th anniversary but it is now evident they were planning this. These extremists dont fade out they are like cancer and grow and spread and corrupt other muslims to join them. Thanks for the info grumpy. Margie

A very tiny fraction of their deeds. Radical Muslims have been intentionally killing civilians all over the world for over 40 years.

By now we should know how Israel feels, hated by the majority in every Arab country. Too bad we don't have the cajones the Israelis have. Radical Muslims would still hate us, but there'd be a hell of a lot fewer of them.

We should start sending in Marines dressed as journalists. Let them send a few groups off American flag burning buttwipes to meet Allah, then see who's willing to dance around for the cameras.

Better yet, Mr. Obama and Joe Biden could confiscate the oil sheiks' wealth and redistribute it to the Arab peoples. Then every single goat herder could afford a Barrett and they'd all be happy.
