Obama LOVERS...........

first of all I'm not an Obama Lover, I am an Obama supporter. I think he is the one for the middle class and the very poor. here are a few things the President has done that I like.
like millions of young kids can stay on their parents insurance, until age 26 instead of age 18.
and Millions of older people have had the price of their prescription drugs, lowered.
millions that had no chance for insurance, because of pre existing conditions. now can't be denied coverage.
took a shot at ending unfair/deceptive credit card practices.
tried to stop the offshore tax safe havens, and tax holidays.
enforced equal pay for women.
ended that wasteful war in Iraq.
fixed it where families that were losing their homes, could refinance at a lower rate.
fought for extended unemployed benefits for those that lost their jobs during the crash of our economy.
made wasteful cuts in defense spending, we have enough weapons now to destroy the world many times over.
increased funding for all types of infrastructure.
demanded increased gas millage from the auto company's.
it's hard to get things done, when your opposition say from day one, that their main goal is to make you a one term President. I've voted in every presidential election, sense I have been old enough to vote. and have voted for both partys. and never have voted for the same man twice. this time I think the President needs another term, he saved our country from a complete collapse. and reversed her direction. I hope he can bring her back to where she was before Bush jr. took control of the wheel.

And we WONDER how the hell we're 16 trillion dollars in debt.

Yep........all wonderful things.........without a single freakin penny to pay for it.

When there is rioting in the streets like Greece and the rest of our financial markets collapse, AND you're on the corner begging for a piece of bread.........Remember all these WONDERFUL things Obama did for you.

REMEMBER IT.

For me personally...strike one against Obama is he came out and said he fully supports gay marriage. This goes hugely against the grain with me. No gay has ever done anything to me, I do not dislike people because they are gay, although I will openly admit that when I see two guys kissing in a public venue it does tend to make me sick to my stomach. BUt anyway...supporting gay marriage in the eye's of the church, God, family and everyone else is just wrong...call it a joint union of two people or something, but it ain't marriage. Honestly...this for me is the one and only true strike against him for me, there are others but this one hits home with me the hardest.

People can say Obama saved Chrysler and GM, but I'm not 100% sold on that way of thinking. How do we know these two companies would have collapsed if the government didn't step in? And....they're companies...companies do fail occassionally, this is the reality of business. I don't think government should be stepping in to provide aid for a company who's owner's don't know how to keep their company afloat, regardless of how long they've been in business.

And...when Obama started out it was all about bail out money and stimulous packages. Hind-sight is 20/20 but hind-sight on all that for me was all that was nothing more than a band-aid. And...just last week I heard the economy is showing signs of slipping/failing so the fed's are gonna begin selling 40 million dollars worth of bonds per month...40 million per month, for how many months I do not know. But, once again..all because they're hoping to give an economic boost...which once again, appears to me to be yet another band-aid.

when he signed for equal pay for women, will that not bring more tax dollars in from the million's of women workers.

stopping the tax holiday, when the company's that moved their jobs overseas and made BILLIONS. will pay tax on it when they bring it back to the USA.

cutting wasteful defense spending, the USA spends more on weapons of war. than China, Russia, Germany, Japan all combined. the cuts will be money saved, have you ever heard the saying, a penny saved is a penny earned.

stopped the wasteful war in Iraq, again a penny saved is a penny earned.

Infrastructure funding means more jobs, building a better USA and taking in tax dollars.

these kind of things the President is doing, will be the very thing that will keep you from standing on a corner begging for bread crumbs.

how can you not see a penny coming in from these changes the President has made? HOW?

and these are a few of the reasons millions of Americans that have Compassion for the middle class and less fortunate will vote for Obama.

I'm not bitter, I'm very very worried about the future.........16 Trillion.........you understand that right. My daughter, her daughter, her daughters daughter, will NEVER be able to pay of that debt.

Sorry, but until we tackle the debt, HOWEVER we do that, we're in dire straits.

No, I don't think anyone on here is rich. I don't see where you would think, I thought you were rich. I said millions would vote for Obama because he had compassion for the middle class and the very poor. I don't think every middle class voter will vote for him, but million's will.
