THIS is from WND, and I don't discount it because it is about an attempt to donate money to Obama from Osama Bin Laden.

The actual donations went through, and the Obama Campaign accepted them.

THIS is very, very scary.....and makes me believe that my whole thought about who actually funded Obama in the past is completely plausible.....Yea I think TERRORIST organizations actually sent Obama money.

I don't buy this, I read the article and copied the address. pasted it in google maps and it said, address could not be found. I put in this address for Trump, and google maps had no trouble at all locating it. try it, Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago, North Wabash Avenue..... if anyone has a true address, Google Maps will find it.

Of COURSE you could not find it......that is the point. It is made up. The made up a fake person, and a fake location. THEN they donated from an IP address INBOUND from Pakistan using WEB SERVERS in Pakistan....does this not bother the crap out of you? Personally, it definitely bothers me.

He says in the article, "The apparently foreign-based contributions were conducted as a test after a flurry of media reports described the ability of foreigners to donate to the Obama campaign but not to Mitt Romney’s site, which has placed safeguards against such efforts." Then he describes submitting a "foreign donation," but the address used is American, albeit falsified. And he says that a disposable credit card was used. I think it's safe to assume it was one issued by an American bank, or he would have reported that. The only thing "foreign" about the whole transaction is the ip address of the proxy server used. AND, even though he says that Romney's site has safeguards against such efforts, he doesn't say whether or not he tried the SAME experiment on Romney's site. I mean, what are these safeguards he's talking about? Do they block transactions from foreign ip's, or just from foreign banks? There's really nothing in this article to indicate that what he did would not have worked on Romney's site, too.

I agree that this kind of transaction should be blocked. But I don't really think this particular experiment proves much. Unless he really did try the very same thing on Romney's site and got blocked. Which my gut tells me didn't happen, or he would have reported that. And the fact that he didn't makes me kind of skeptical.
