Fox And Friends Calls NBC's Sandy Benefit "Concert For Obama"

Eric Bolling accused them of inviting only "liberal" performers, like Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Christina Aguilera, Billy Joel, etc., and purposely excluding any "conservative" ones. I read this and I was thinking, "OK, just who can you call a conservative performer?" Hank Williams, Jr., but he's damaged goods nowadays. Toby Keith? OK, but this is New York, not Texas. He's probably not gonna get a real warm welcome. So tell me, conservative board members: What conservative performer(s) could have been invited, that would have balanced out the show?

I think anyone can see this is exactly what it is....Obama love fest disguised and in conjunction with help for the community. Remember he was a community organizer.... Lets see how many times the potus is mentioned during the concert.
If they don't mention him or show some left wing support then all us conservatives were wrong.
As far as knowing political beliefs of performers??? Hahaha I don't know many more then the ones you mentioned. Performers, actors and sports figures opinions on anything other them what they do for a living means nothing to me but sadly some simple minded folks seem to identify with these boobs.

Fox news, fair and balanced should follow in NBC's footsteps, and have their own group of singers or dancers. to raise money for those people in need. instead of being whining about the group that did have a fund raising for them. the storm is over, but it's not to late to help. put a big picture of the big " R " on stage with the singers or dancers, if it will raise more money for the needy.

OK then answer the question: Who else could they have invited that might have made it more "fair and balanced?"

I don't follow the politics of the performers that much. What little I know is what you mentioned and of course Bruce, Bon Jovi and who ever else they mentioned. To me it's plain to see from the fact that folks were wearing Obama stuff and had forward signs.(googled it and saw that) I didn't watch the show because I could care less about watching something like that.

Anyone know? Maybe some other country performers?

I guess knowing how important it is to win for either party and seeing an opportunity like this I can't help but come to the conclusion that this was politically motivated. Did anyone on here watch it? Was there any Pro Obama stuff? Maybe little jabs by some of the performers either at Romney or for Obama?

Any politician worth his salt knows you don't let a tragedy go by without making an appearance and getting some good light on you from it.

I believe Rahm Emanual said "never let a good crisis go to waste" meaning you have people's attention and use that opportunity to get your message out. Works in business as well.

By the way to me it's not a question of being fair and balanced....it's a question of calling it what it was.
