I've had the navionics map for nearly a year......and with the purchase, you get 1 year of free updates. Well I put my mapchip in and went ahead and updated it.
All I an say is WOW.......it is amazing the amount of change that came down with my updated map. Roadbeds, stump fields, foundations......all kind of stuff that was not on the map, is now on the map.
Not only that, but there is some "magic" if you have a navionics account and use the PC and Android/iphone applications.
I'm having some fun.......

Geo are there enough updates/good info about kentucky and barkley to make it worth me paying $75 dollars--my chips are a couple years old and i mainly fish ky/bark
Would you have paid the $75 having seen the updates--thanks for any info
I'm not too sure..................best/only way to really know is to take the finder with your map and compare it with a finder with the new map.
I noticed some things that are definitely different and updated, but I'm not completely sure it would be worth upgrading.
BUT for the record.....I think I would, and I will pay the 75 bucks next year when I'm out of date.

IM curious as to what under water structure upgrade you noticed.
I have a hard time understanding what bridge, road, or creek bed, they now know about that they didnt know about 12 months ago. Thanks for taking the time
A new top water structure dock, ramp, bouy, etc, after the older chip was marketed is understandable, if you can explain would be a big help
