Of course no outcry about that. It does nothing to advance control over citizens by this administration Abortion is a tough Subject and I'm against abortions but do see times where it is a tough call. Allowing abortions just because some folks became pregnant is what I don't approve of but then you have a bunch of babies that are not wanted. So what can be done?? Adoptions are an option but I don't have any idea on how that works as far as paperwork, fees or amount of time it takes?

Abortion is a tough call. Pregnancy caused by rape, should let the mother have the option. Planned parenthood is NOT murder.Want to know another crime, unwed mothers with multiple births. Fathers who dont pay child support, with multiple un cared for children. These people are criminals in my mind.We could not have any more children, for medical reasons,and the two that God gave us we cared for as best we could taking thier interests first. BUT they didn't wear peer fashionable clothes, they didn't have the latest trendy toys, that they couldn't live with out.And the rules my wife placed on them, they carried on to our grand children. First was morality,education,marriage children. And responsibity for your actions.

Abortion is most of the time a hot button for hard liners to seize onto but it is quite amazing how quickly they are willing to throw the kid under the bus in the name of cutting benefits to 'welfare losers' after these kids exit the womb... It's wrong to abort the fetus but it's ok to starve the kid just because it happens to have loser parents... If you are not willing to take the kid into your home and raise it then shut the hell up.

You are right on! Under educated, ill fed, mis treated children are just as alive as a fetus. But the conservatives in many cases fail to see that.Maybe it goes with that cut our way to a balanced budget, where does breed your way out of poverty come from?

Low blow even though I can see what you are trying to say. Those that can be viewed as hard liners are usually VERY compassionate people that are more than willing to help the innocent and those that truely CAN NOT help themselves. Helping welfare Crackheads happens to be another issue...

I agree with you but we haven't so far been able to remove the kids from the loser parents and until we are able to do that, forcing people to have kids they either don't want or can't afford to feed does nothing but add to the generation of people we are constantly whining about who take advantage of tax payers, an aborted fetus just might be better off than a child that nobody wants.

Actually - there are plenty of people - mainly evangelical Christians - who are willing to do just that. Often they have to wait 9 months to a year for even a domestic adoption to happen. The problem is not that there aren't good homes; the problem is, the kids are either aborted, or not put up for adoption.

I always used to see the "abortion stops a beating heart" bumper stickers around. One day I saw one that said "abortion stops a beating" and thought about it.
