Seems like he is spot on to me.

Joe is supposed to be the NCAA Tourney Bracket Guru???? Obviously, watching games, reading sports center ticker or reading the college basketball section of any newspaper, are NOT REQUIREMENTS for the job.
IU, a #1 seed, NOT!!! 7-4 last 11 games, a missed tap in by Michigan that did everything but go it or they are 6-5. If same tapin goes in they don't win Big 10. Didn't evens make it to Big 10 tourney finals.
Duke, a #1 seed, NOT!!! Didn't win regular season and didn't even make ACC tourney title game. If you can't win either the regular season or tourney title , your not even the best team in your own conference much less a #1 seed in the Big Dance.
Lunardi has Kentucky out with Ole Miss and Missouri in the Big Dance. Kentucky finished 2nd in the Confrrence behind Florida. Ole Miss and Missouri finished BEHIND Kentucky in the Regular Season AND KENTUCKY BEAT BOTH MISSOURI AND OLE MISS IN THEIR HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUPS.
Seems like he is spot on to me.
I'm as gum-dipped blue as anybody, and I could make a case for UK's bubble status too...but I'm pretty done with this year's squad. With Nerlens, things were a bit different, but one kid doesn't make a team. Part of me thinks the committee will put them in because they're close, they're defending National Champs, and they're Kentucky. They did beat Florida, Missouri, and Old Miss. BUT, they got crucified at Tennessee, boar-hogged by Arkansas, chicken-kicked by Georgia, and racked in the apple-sack by Vandy on the road. We didn't beat Duke, Louisville. Tennessee beat Florida and Mizzou too. Ole Miss beat Mizzou twice, but doesn't really have any other quality wins to rest their hats on. If they win the SEC Tourney today against Florida, game on.
I do know, looking at bubble teams, that Virginia and Maryland are compelling because of wins over Duke and UNC and NC State...but I'm not sure they're much better.
We'll see how the committee picks it soon enough tonight.
Louisville has a great shot over Indiana and Duke to cut down the nets. They're playing good basketball.
Lunardi is usually spot on and I suspect he is right again!
Saw this morning where he updated this morning and changed Duke to Kansas,
Lunardi got all 68 right in his final bracket. I would say he is pretty good at his gig!
Didn't seem like much to debate. Quibbling over really about 2 spots. Go with MTSU/Lasalle or with SEC or ACC school. They went small.
Louisville, IU, Kansas, Ohio State. IU over Louisville in final.
Good luck everybody.
Call it what you want, he nailed it and was dead on...
Wow, every team right....
