Anyone paying attention to the DOMA, and prop 8 california case? This could be sticky, one is states rights, and the other is equal rights. I wouldn't be be surprised to see them drop back and punt!

I didn't like DOMA......and it thoroughly DISGUSTS me that a federal judge overthrew the will of the people with prop 8 in california.

DOMA should have never been created. It opened the door for the ******** that we are now dealing with.

BUT, I also think leaving it up to the states to create a hodge podge of homosexual marriage and the legal MESS it will create, will be very hard to deal with in the future.

I would have preferred a legal civil union OUTSIDE of the definitions associated with marriage, and be done with it. Most of this has nothing to do with marriage. It has everything to do with the laws associated with marriage. EXTEND those laws or something similar, and be freakin done with this **** that means absolutely nothing to most people.

BTW....how about we start dealing with the economy, or energy, or north korea, or Radical Islam, or Iran, or. or. or.....It is simply amazing how much time and energy is being spent on something so meaningless.
