What's your favorite and favorite color for shore line fishing at the lakes?
I love the strike king 1.5. Natural patterns in the clear water and I like a chartreuse base color in the dirtier water.
I like most square bills in natural patterns especially baby bass or bluegill. I like the sexy Shad color also in the medium diving range
WiggleWart in Baby Bass
... pappy
I still use Bandit cranks the most. Natural patterns for clearer lakes and chartreuse colored for murkier water. I don't have a favorite color scheme just shades of whatever pattern i feel the water dictates.
Bandit squarebill series 100 in Rootbeer, and RB CHartreuse. Strike King in Sexy shad and Black Chart.

I agree with DJD said about the colors. More important than color at this time of the year is the size and diving depth of the crank. As is usually the case with late summer cranking, bigger and deeper is better.
Alright boys, keep your wisecracks to yourself.
I'm trolling with a lot of different crank baits. I'm using mostly Bandits as they are said to run straight right out of the box
I'm also catching some nice big crappie on some old Bomber type waterdogs from the 1960s.
Thanks fellas!
