This is what a president is supposed to sound like:
Loved the man he was an awesome leader and a TRUE American that loved this country and its people.
Great man great speech and great post
Thanks Geo
I just watched this again and it gives me cold chills. The words of the man in WWI are so strong they can not be described by other words.
God rest Ronald Reagan you Mr President are sorely missed sir...
Totally agree those words seem so far gone on today's gimme generation......you know R.R. Wasn't perfect but he was such a better example of a leader than the dufus we have now...geez we have gone down such a terrible hole with this band of misfits. Lie after lie, coverup after coverup, crises after crises and debt beyond belief. The worst part is people actually think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Man our standards are in the dirt...
good video,
I think he was the last true President Leader this country had.
one think good I remember about, Old trickle down was, he was for the working man, in fact he liked the working man so much, he raised the retirement age, so everyone could get to work another year before they can retire.
What is a "retirement age"? I plan on working full time until I think I've saved enough money to stop working full time.
I didn't know that the government dictated an age that you had to work to before you could retire. Sounds like people want the government running their lives.
Maybe you're referring to the age that Social Security benefits kick in, but anyone naive enough to believe that Social Security will be anything more substantial than occasional lunch money really has their head in the sand.
Yep.......What is a "retirement age"? I plan on working full time until I think I've saved enough money to stop working full time.

Social Security will be the gravy on my biscuits.......but I will have my BISCUITS no matter, because I put them away.
AND if the gravy is there to be taken, **** sure I'm going to take it, and I'm going to take ALL of the helping I can have.......After all the gubment has been taking the ingredients from me for years. YEARS, I tell ya.
Later,
Geo
Geo, that depends on whether you like plain old milk gravy or good sausage gravy with chunks of sausage in it. Keep saving if you can!!
From a person that's pulled a small social security check for 2 years now, I need to live for another 40 years to get "my" money back. That ain't gonna happen.![]()
