We don't need federal laws on immigration. they are mostly ignored, or loop holes allow them to be circumvented.that deals with almost all aspects of American life.What we need is common sense. Unfortuanetly, that's a rather scares commodity today.We have too many special interest groups today, who put big money into politics. We think there should be a law against something, then its turned around from help to hinder.Does anyone know how many laws there are? What were they intended to do originaly. I'm willing to bet[where its legal] that theres a law against everything!

Im not for giving them a free pass to citizenship either but our elected idiots have been for as long as I can remember because they don't/won't stop it. I still think Obama will push and gett total amnesty before his time is done. This will secure that vote for the dems and pave a better path for Hillary or whoever runs.

i mean what else can they do about the illegals? Can't send them back. Can't arrest them. Can't enforce profiling. States can't enforce immigration laws to strictly without the Feds stepping in to make it impossible to carry out any laws. Can't secure the borders because we have total idiots in charge. Amnesty is the only way. Sure there will be an uprising by conservatives and some moderate dems but what does that matter to this administration?? Look at obamacare and tell me they care about what we think.

I predict that the positive spin Obama will put on this is that his obamacare will get immediate funds because of the huge tax base increase. Heck he may even charge them a percentage on the path to amnesty to ease the pain of the improperly funded obamacare debacle. I see it as a win win for his party.

In the end just forget about illegal immigration reform it ain't gonna happen.....Like you mentioned in another post way to many special interest groups with tons of cash and connections.....we are FUBAR on this.
