Is it frozen?
fished out of grider hill sunday 02\9\14 no ice. but there is a small shad kill going on
I was fishing the fly with a friend of mine. we fished for about 4hrs, he caught a 24 inch striper on the fly. and that
was the only bite we got. there was a tournament out of the dam and it only took 7lbs to win. the previous week
it took 21lbs to win. as far as patterns the a-rig "was" working. Things have really slowed down on the big c

mhall, what was really cool about that tournament is that I seen 3 kys that weighed just over 3 1\2 pounds apiece.
they looked like they were on steroids. just awesome.
Good stuff, hey man I commented on here a few weeks ago about the increase in size of the Spots at Cumb. Last year I got some really nice Kentucks and they seem to be coming on strong. There has always been magnum Spots at the lake but tons and tons of those 10 to 13 inh size it seems the overall average size is getting better....good to see.
I assume the Fly was the go to....and jigs deep? Surprised that Alabama rig is hot given the water temps..
Is the ramp at Holcombs Landing accessible ???,...or has the little bay there iced over ???
no ice at Holcombs
