Fair or unfair? I'm just asking what you think:

Here is a report that I think it unfair. I think that the girl has every right to post these pictures. Shame on Facebook. What do you all think?

    I agree........Facebook is a business.

She should simply create a godaddy or 1&1 site and be done with it. She could post those pics and anything else she wants to on a personal site and no one can censure it.

I agree with this as well. To me, the question of "fair" doesn't apply at all to this story. Facebook can and should have the right to do anything it wants to its users - edit their photos, remove posts, ban them, whatever. It's their business and they can run it how they want.

Regarding fairness itself, one thing I've come to realize is that life was never, ever, ever meant to be fair. And it would be completely boring if it were. The sooner people come to realize this, they avoid all kinds of unnecessary aggravation.

It's ok with Facebook if Fox News Posts these pics

Funny how this work. She can't post her pictures on her Facebook Site but Fox News can post the same pictures on their Facebook Site.

    Funny how that works!

Facebook pulled the pics based on complaint algorithms built into the facebook product.

For individuals, I suspect they could generate enough negative comments or complaints to generate the pull. I suspect with FOX, there is a **** ton of viewership that saw the photos, and approved......therefore very few, if any negative viewer experiences.

If Fox posted and folks were extremely pissed about it, I suspect they may have been pulled there too.

Nothing going on here, move on.

All this publicity is probably what she was shooting for (no pun intended). I think I read where she wants to be some type of outdoors related TV host or personality; have her own TV show. Nobody would have ever heard of here if Facebook didn't pull her pictures and all the press that followed as a result.

And yes Facebook has every right to set their own guidelines.

Right.....and my point about algorithms to get posts deleted. It only takes a few people to click on a post or a video and say it is offensive. Once it hits a certain threshold of offensive "clicks" versus clicks, It goes into a review process.

I've had to remove LEFTISTS from my facebook feed because they click that something they don't agree with on my feed is offensive. FACEBOOK pulls it. I have had quite a few things pulled. I get an email from Facebook about it.

I WISH facebook would provide a list of people who found it offensive. It would make cleaning my friends list much easier.....Now, I simply throw out the occasional really OFFENSIVE post and see who responds......they get the AX .

Yes she is after the publicity and did a good job in a way.

Facebook sets standards but did they follow their own standards? Just because someone didn't like her pics doesn't mean that they broke the facebooks rules about posting pictures. They were not poaching pictures and as far as I can tell they were legally taken wild game. I didn't see any blood or guts shown in any of those pictures either. So facebook just deleted her photos and disregarded their own picture posting policy. But I guess since they own the Facebook Servers they can do what ever they wish anytime they wish and change their policy anytime they want.

I hope she gets that outdoor job that she wants. But I hope that she goes to college and gets a degree in some thing like Wildlife Biology first or Journalism so that she can do that job with some professionalism. She young but she knows what she wants and I have to admire her for going after what she wants.

If all else fails she could go to work for Fox news. I hear they like cute blond hair girls with blue eyes, long legs and short dresses and with great smiles. Those are the kind of women that people like to look at. It doesn't matter what they say so much as long as they look good! Right Rodger??
